No. You are not crazy and don't let any doctor convince you that you
are (they will try). First of all, I agree with your decision to push
for the laparoscopy. I did the same thing. It was the best thing I
ever did in terms of the disease. If the doctors find scar tissue they
can also remove during the same procedure. I do not understand why your
doctor wants to prescribe the Lupron when they can find the scarring and
remove it during the lap. In my opinion. Lupron is hell. I'm sure it
has worked for some, but I refuse to ever get it again. I suffered with
awful hot flashes that were so bad that I couldn't work because I could
not stand to wear clothing. Who can live like that. Also, I too have
been suffering with constipation for years. I began experiencing
abdominal swelling and constipation about a year and a half before I was
diagnosed. My doctors never said that it was connected but I thought it
was strange being that I had never experienced any problems of that kind
before. Furthermore, some scar tissue was found on my bowel during my
lap. Unfortunately I am still suffering with constipation (my doctor
says its IBS)that I believe is somehow linked to the endo.
