I would like to touch on the last reply that was posted regarding finding another physician.

My Doctor did the same thing in regards to removing small amounts at a time. He also did remove Hemohagic Cysts from my Ovaries, Untied my tubes from each other, cut them from the intestines, and preformed laser surgery on some of the tissue. I am covered inside of my Uterus and out; also my Cervix is the same. I was on Lupron for about a year. I had no complications other than my hip was sore from the injections once a month. Yet, still, I could not get my tubes to open correctly (they are bilaterally blocked with tissue).

One year ago, July 9th, they took my (over-extended) full term baby from me. Something was a miracle for me to even get pregnant. Although, she was only the size of a 5 month old fetus when they removed her and she was gone before they did so, I know that all that my Doctor did leading up to then helped with something.

Honestly, there was NO WAY for my physician to remove everything. In fact I remember asking about hysterectomies and he and I discussing that factor. But, between my first lap/hysteroscopy and the second and I am sure many more to come.......him removing small amounts at a time and ENSURING some of the areas are protected somewhat more....(wrapping gauze around my tubes to ensure them not tying back to each other or my intestines again)......it has slowly helped. I am not going to say the pain is gone. I am not going to say that I am healed. I have battled MANY years with this (basically since I started my period and I am 31 now) and I have a very long hard road ahead to include many more HSG's (hystioselphentiagram - forgive spelling please I never got that one right), Laps/hysteroscopies, tubal ligation, possible IVF, and many other options and procedures.

Sometimes, starting with the little things are the best way to go.....If you trust your Doctor, then do what they suggest.....If you don't then get more opinions. It's all up to you....but starting here....at least you can get pictures (make sure to ask your Doctor to record the procedure or take pictures) and you can go from there if you feel the need to go to other Doctor(s).

Best of luck to you and you are in my prayers! -You'll do fine! Just don't tell someone they sound like the person they are when you are in recovery (LOL-see earlier post) =)
