Hey! I want to give you some words of encouragement here....I had my VERY FIRST surgery EVER when I was 25 (I think) and it was a Hystroscopy and a Laproscopy. My Doctor is a MIRACLE WORKER! He knew I was very scared and that I had never gone throw any type of surgeries or anything before. We spent a lot of time talking and ironing some fears out. Confide in your Doctor and trust him. Also, ask him if there is something he can give you for the morning of or the night before. My Doctor did this and it helped tremendously also. Also, your companion and family. But most of all, I want to let you know......all I remember is crying when they took me back........then waking up and the person talking to me sounded just like my ex Mother-In-Law (I'm divorced from that family now) and I told them that......and it was her LOL :) She worked where I had the surgery done and came back to check on me. I did not have much pain at all afterwards and was back at work part time by the following Monday (had this done on a Wed). I think the thing that scared me the most was the results. Just keep in mind.....If it's meant to be.......and BELIEVE in your faith......you will do fine! I say this and I know inside when I go back in again I will be terrified again.....But still, not like that first time. You will do fine......Just think of all the funny stories you will have afterwards like mine of telling my ex mother in law she sounded like who she was (that still makes me laugh-guess you had to be there LOL) You are in my prayers and have someone post the outcome of how you did in the next couple of days....I know you won't feel like doing it......but have SOMEONE let us know :)
