I know what it is like to be scared, but you will get through it ok. Did they want you to do the bowel prep? As far as the pain that you are having with your stomach I found it to be associated with endo. I had some of the same symptoms. My specialist suggested that I start eating more fiber and it has helped tremendously. Taking a good multi-vitamin helps too. You should also tell your doctor about your bowel symptoms just in case, to rule out any other problems. I am pretty sure the doctor explained what type of surgery it is and how it will be conducted. I assure you that it is not as bad as it sounds. Once you wake up from the surgery you may feel a bit dizzy or like you might be sick, but it will subside. I suggest that after the surgery you don't try to move much and have someone there with you that can take care of you atleast for the first couple days after the surgery. If they don't find endo, don't worry...there might be something else like adhesions or polyups causing the pain. As far as the lupron, don't go on it until you are sure that is what you want to do. I have heard women say it is great and others that have complained about it. Everyone's body is different. I am sure you will get through it just fine. I hope what I have said helps a bit. I will keep you in my prayers. Please keep us posted on how it turns out. Tiana

>Hi there,
>I had my second surgery for endo in may. I've also been on the Lupron for 5 months. Being pain-free is the best but this drug is AWFUL. make sure you read all the side effects before you go on it. I've experienced ALL of the effects X100. The Lap went VERY well, better than I expected. I returned to work (office) after a week and a half. This is my last month of Lupron, my doctor's appt is July 8. My husband and I are still trying to have our children.
>I'm going to try a liver cleanse...read up on this at sensiblehealth.com (I think) you may want to try it, It sounds very promising. I wish I would have known about it before taking the Lupron.
>Good luck tomorrow! Don't worry about the scarring, it is very minimal.
