Hi, I am so glad I came across this group. Just reading some of the posts have helped me to realize that I definately am not alone in this. It is another night where I have been jarred awake by awful pain, and when I get over tired the pain gets worse...it is a viscious cycle. I am tired of putting things off in my life either from the heavy bleeding, or the pain but I'm not sure how to do this. I am waiting to see a surgeon and to get in to a pain management clinic but both have very long waiting lists. If anyone has any suggestions, tips, or tricks that they would be willing to share I would greatly appreciate it. I want to be able to cope enough to go back to University...it has been a life long dream to become a Nurse, but with the number of days each month that I am "out of commission" I would miss too many classes. I was at a point last year where I thought not living was better than living with the pain...I realize now that isn't the case but it gets really hard to keep my chin up some days. Thanks again if you have any suggestions, I am willing to try anything. :)
