I am at a crossroads in my life where I don't know what to do. I have been dealing with satge 4 endo for sometime now and I have had 2 laproscopic surgeries and in between the two surgeries I was getting Lupron injections. Since taking the lupron I have had some memory problems and severe vision changes. I thought that the lupron was going to help out and not make my overall health worse. I just had my first period after the lupron wore off in May 2004. And this month (june) has been a nightmare I am still having horrible pain, and was in the ER for 8 hours the other night and the doctors said it is the pain from my endo. I talked to my doctors office today and they said that they are going to have to do a laporatomy and have to prep the bowle. I was at the point that I wanted to just have a hysterectomy, but my doctor knows how much I want a baby. I just can't continue this pain any longer, and I am sick of pain pills. Does anyone know what a laporatomy is? I don't know what it is or if it is an out patient procedure.
