Hi Tricia,

I used mag citrate-1 bottle a day for 3 days and 1 or 2 enemas(this was on the last day) and antibiotics(3 days). The mag citrate is one bottle about ten ounces or so. Refrigerate them and drink as quick as possible. They have an overly sicky sweet taste- (like 7-up, but different), but it is better than some alternatives. I think I had just tap water enemas, but I can't remember. Clear liquids- popcicles, jello, bullion, pop.

There are different ways to do bowel prep and it is good you are going to your doctor's appt informed and ready to ask questions.

Best wishes on your surgery and recovery.
