Unfortunatly, endo is not considered a "disability," and therefore endo alone will not qualify you for disability benefits. Even those with "accepted" disabilities like lupus and ms spend a long time fighting to get their benefits. Try talking to your doctor. You may have more going on than just endo. I have been feeling real sick for a long time and was finally diagnosed with endo in March of 2000. But I just kept getting worse and worse and I was just recently diagnosed with a defective gall baldder and a defective heart. I am going to have to have my gall bladder removed and will have to under go open heart surgery and be on meds for the rest of my life. In addition to that, my doctor is testing me for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis because he thinks I have that, too. I have been going to the doctor non stop ever since I was three years old, and they just diagnosed this stuff last week(I am 25!!). Keep fighting. I wish you the best!
