Re: What is endo?From: Mandy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jun 28 10:04:27 2004
Hi! Have you gone to your gynecologist? That would be the first step. There are different things that it could be, so you should really see your gynecologist. Endo symptoms vary for each person. But some of the symptoms are: Pain before and during periods, Pain with intercourse, General, chronic pelvic pain throughout the month, Low back pain, Heavy and/or irregular periods, Painful bowel movements especially during menstruation, Painful urination during menstruation, Fatigue, Infertility, Diarrhea or constipation. Here is a definition: Endometriosis is a condition in which endometrial tissue, the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus, grows outside the uterus and attaches to other organs in the abdominal cavity such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Hope this helps some!
