i bled 7 weeks on lupron (started about week 5 or 6). part of it was the lack of estrogen. the nurse explained it like my lining needed to column together and hadn't had time. i had started lupron 10 days into my cycle, so that's why i had some build-up. they gave me 14 days of estrogen to stop the bleeding, but only after the nurse yelled at my doctor about it.
