Bleeding on Lupron - an updateFrom: Rosa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jun 25 20:34:58 2004
Hi Everyone, First I want to say thanks to those of you who responded to my post "don't know what to do - no one is helping me." I finally saw the dr this week. I am scheduled for a lap for july 7th and he is now adding a hysteroscopy and D&C to the procedure. He doesn't think teh bleeding is a result of the lupron, so I guess we'll find out soon what it is. He didn't comment on what he thought was causing the bleeding. This has been 3 weeks of bleeding which started 5 weeks after the lupron was administered. the bleeding stopped for two weeks and has been back for the last two weeks - blah. It just made me so mad cause his nurse told me she wasn't concerned, but obviously, after speaking with the dr, he is. Ok, we'll I'll post after my surgery when we hopefully have some answers! Rosa PS - I know I have endometrial hyperplasia (benign) and I wonder if that could be causing the problem? I've never had this bleeding problem before.
