Lupron Injections

My doctor has recommended the three month Lupron injections for me but has asked that I research the drug before I make my decision. I have tried, but seem to come up with the same few reports touting a few ill-effects and little else. I tried to check out the Lupron Victims website but it is apparantly no more.

>From this forum, I can tell that it is a hotly debated subject, mostly
for sufferers of Endometriosis. I am not a sufferer of the disease myself, just frequent anemia, severe pain, and constant (going on 3 years now, that's right, over 1000 days) bleeding. My doc says that being overweight causes an over production of estrogen which probably causes the bleeding so he says that taking 6 months of Lupron will alleviate my symptoms temporarily, just to give me a bit of a break.

I am hoping someone out there can give me some words of wisdom to help me decide if the drug is worth the benefits. I am 29 years old and already suffer from night sweats and hot flashes as well as an irregular heartbeat a few of the other minor symptoms. I don't want a hysterectomy until I find out if i can have children. Does anyone know if I choose to take this medication, will the symptoms worsen? How often do women suffer from memory loss...etc? I know that the Internet can be a forum for those with bad experiences unless those out there with good news are prompted to share, so any advice or stories (good or bad) you care to share with me before I make my decision?

Your help is greatly appreciated!
