Hi Krista,

Sorry the surgeon at Holy Cross didnt work out. He sounds like my GYN oncologist. The guy who did my laparotomy was also real focused on the cyst. He could have cared less about the rectovaginal mass. probably b/c he knew he would never go near it. The doctor that one woman metioned is Dr. Edward Wallach at Hopkins (Green Spring Station). She didnt say exactly what he did for her. I'm seeing Dr. R in NY on wednesday. I'll let you know how that goes. I also made an appointment with Dr. Nikos Vlahos also at Hopkins as backup. That one is not until July. If you want to email me privately, you can at almacubana@yahoo.com.

Cya,

He said that although he might remove most of the endo. He would let hormone therapy take care of the rest. Now I thought the surgeon was supposed to try to remove all of it. He also had not read my records thoroughly (or at all) before or meeting. He was very focused on the ovarian cyst and didn't seem overly concerned about the rest of the endometriosis. Anyway, I am glad that you warned me about being careful in my choice of surgeons.
