An adhesion is scar tissue that can "glue" your pelvic organs together. They can be caused by endo, prior abdominal surgery or infection. I did have my gallbladder out a couple of years ago but my pain was way lower than where the gallbladder was so I'm not sure if that could have caused the adhesion or not.
