There is only ONE way to diagnose endometriosis, and that is via surgery. Until you have had surgery, usually a Lap, you cannot be diagnosed with endo. The doctor can suspect endo, but cannot diagnose it until surgery has been performed, lesions have been biopsied, and pathology confirms that the lesions are endo.
