I'm in Grand Rapids and know a couple names in this area. Dr. Dodds is very good, I think he is out of Spectrum Health Downtown, he is known around these parts as a fertility god. I saw him give a lecture on endo once and he said he is very aggressive surgically rather than medically. Dr. Dalm is also very good, he's out of Metropolitan Hospital. He is a surgeon and has a fabulous reputation in the endo community around here. He cleared up my mother-in-law's endo during her hysterectomy and she hasn't had any trouble since. I was also told by a woman in her early 20's that he just put his arm around her and let her cry in his office. Another good doctor in town is Dr. Jane Jawahir. She is good at balancing surgery and Rx to control endo. Good luck, sorry I don't know about Detroit.
