I like Vicodin too but it's not as strong so I have to take more (2 tablets as opposed to 1 Percocet) and it doesn't last as long. I am also a huge fan of those Thermacare heat patches, and of course the good old fashioned heating pad at home! I too am afraid of the pain! My OBGYN isn't exactly gung ho to write me prescriptions for pain meds so I think I'm going to ask him to refer me to a pain management clinic. Have you ever thought of trying that also?
