Previous message: pretty_492: "'regular' check up... HELP" Hi, Just thought I would let you all know that I am halfway through my lupron injections. I have had 3 now and I am so glad I am on it. It took my pain away and although my first period lasted 3 wks I haven't had one since. I did have terrible hot flashes and night sweats but since getting my third injection two weeks ago they have died down considerably. I feel terrible for all of you who the shots didn't work for or caused you more problems. I just felt compelled to tell those of you who are afraid of trying it because of what others have experienced that everyone is different and yes it is working great for me personally. Best wishes to you all. My mom made me several rice bags which I put in the freezer and took to bed with me and that helped me sleep through the heat better. Amanda P.
