Yes, you can use a drugstore test and the accuracy of the results will be the same rate as anyone else who uses it.

If you do this test, it reads negative and you do not get your next period, have severe pain, fever, or any other troublesome symptoms then you should see your doctor. Ectopic pregnancy CAN happen post tubal ligation though usually in the first few months afterwards.
