I'm home! And confused as hell! The doctor spoke with me briefly after I woke up so I don't remember much of what he said and wasn't in any shape to ask questions. He said there was NO endo but some kind of adhesion that ran "from left to right". He also said I had an infection (of what type and the location I have no idea) and my appendix was in a weird spot???? My follow up is in 2 weeks so I will be asking lots of questions. I can't see that the infection was causing the pain that I have been having over the last 2 years.. I'm just very confused and not feeling very positive about the future as far as pain relief. I'm horribly depressed for not getting an affirmative diagnosis of what has been causing me so much pain over the last couple of years. I can't believe he didn't see any endo, I have all of the classic symptoms (horrible pain and bloating with ovulation that lasts 3-4 days, same pain again starting a few days before my period and lasting 4-5 days and pain with bowel movements. I also have pain that goes into my back and shooting pains in my thighs.) I just don't understand it and am really depressed.
