Some do have some pain for a few days afterward and some do just fine.

I would suggest calling your dr on Tues to ask. Also, are you having this done in the hospital under general anesthesia? If your dr is not doing this with anesthesia and in the OR to get a true reading of the results I would say find another dr and wait to do the procedure after your vacation.

If your dr is suspecting IC in your case these procedures need to be done in the OR with the person under general anesthesia.
