ednometriomasFrom: octoberbaby (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri May 28 09:23:53 2004
Hi. I have an odd question, so I'm hoping someone familiar with endo can help me out. I was diagnosed with (moderate) endo in 2001, but was not given a grade/stage. The specialist said it appeared as if I'd had it quite a while. In 1998, I noticed a small pea size lump in my lower back beneath the skin that responds to hormonal changes (i.e. when it is close to my period, the bump becomes extremely sore). I recently heard that endometriomas can form and travel to different areas of the body, primarily within the abdominal cavity. Does anyone else have anything like this? All my doctors seem perplexed. Also, has anyone found near complete relief from pain after giving birth? I had four pain FREE cycles, but now pain is returning again :o( I'd be really interested to hear from you!
