I completely agree with all of you saying that depression is linked with
endo. When i found out in january that i have stage 4 endo all over i
was horrified and everything else. In addition, my doc told me that i
need to hurry up and have kids if i even want a chance. He's not ruling
it out, but he says it is highly unlikely that i will ever have kids
without adopting. That was soo hard for me to hear. I'm only 19 and my
best friend has a 7 month old that i'm around all the time. It's just
not fair. Why does this always happen to people that don't deserve it?
Well, I went into major depression. Still working on it, but the
antidepressants are helping some. The thing that has made me soo mad is
the fact that my pain never went away. I went from not taking any meds
in november to taking 12 pills a day not counting any tylenol that i
take. I'm on vioxx everyday to try to help, so with that you aren't
supposed to take advil, but i've been doing that even. I went from a
4.0 gpa in high school last year. I got my grades from spring this year
in college and i have a 2.3. That is mainly because i missed soo many
classes because i was in soo much pain, or out from surgery or
something. I wasn't actually released to finish everything until april
24th. My doctor believes that part of my pain is added to by the stress
that i have in my life. However, I don't know. Lately i haven't been
able to do much of anything because i hurt soo bad. I can't wear jeans
because they're too tight and everything. Well I guess i'll quit
complaining now. However, i definately believe that depression can
partially be caused by endo.
