Still having pain ...even after surgery

Hi to everyone, I'm new to this board. I was diagnosed with endometriosis about three weeks ago during a exploratory lap. to find out what all the pain was from after the birth of my fourth child. I know that three weeks after surgery isn't very long, but I was just wondering if I should still be having the pain. I was doing good for about a week, and then the pain kicked back in, and the pain killers arn't really helping...like before the surgery. I only had one small place on my bladder, and a few adhesions. The doctor said it was early stage one. I had thought that after surgery I would be pain free, so I'm very frustrated. Has anyone else had this problem? I have only started to really look for information on this since the pain has returned. Is there a such thing as " pain free?" Help!!!!
