Re: CrushedFrom: Lori (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat May 22 12:53:56 2004
Hi, I am very sorry to hear of your trouble, unfortunatly it seems that the Drs. are getting very frustrated with this disease, as are all of us & the lack of compassion seems to be among a lot of them, I mean one time a Dr. said to me "poor Baby" sarcastically to me! Did you know that their is another way to treat endo? I never knew until October of 2003 that their was more hope than the medical route I had always heard of. It is not a lot of hype either as some think, a lot of women I talk to are actually feeling better going with this route, Natural progesterone cream is something you can research, along with many vitamins, some herbs like chaste tree berry & this sounds strange but some have found by eliminating wheat to be a major help, change of diet is very important also-the whole idea is to balance the hormones: less estrogen, which you probably know cause endo to grow. really it would take a while to write everything down about it, but do some research on the natural route, some things that do work besides the natural progesterone is fish oil, evening primrose oil, a good multivitamin, vitamin C, a liver cleanse, calcium magnesium & I do not mean just a lightweight approach to this route either, for it to work it has to be a combination of alot of all of this for usually a few months for it to start working. In my opinion only the best hope for endo right now is this route, but also combining it with a lap to remove the endo 1st, then supressing it in this way may work for others? Gosh the possiblility for gyno's & Naturopathic Dr's working together amiably what a thought of success!!!!
