Re: Prozac?

I am not on Prozac, but I am on LexaPro, which is also an anti-depressant, although not as strong. It does not do anything for my pain, but does help me to deal with the pain better. It has calmed my nerves and my emotions. I find that I deal with all the endo pain and side effects much better now that I am on it. I thought Prozac was an anti-depressant, so not sure why your Doc would say it would help with pain? Maybe he just meant it would help you cope better with it? For me, I don't have the PMS as bad either. While the LexaPro makes me sometimes a little emotionally dull (I don't get as excited about good things) it has been worth it to not be a crying, raving lunatic! Hope this helps!
