Crinone and endometrial hyperplasiaFrom: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue May 18 01:12:50 2004
My ob/gyn's new associate is treating me for endometrial hyperplasia. She just Rx Crinone 2x/day for 28 days starting the day after my last period. I have searched and searched on the net and not found anywhere that Crinone (vaginal gel) was Rx for 28 days. I don't really think this dr knows how to Rx Crinone. I'm taking it as she said (I've been on it for two days now) and I'm getting very depressed and starting to rage. (I have a hx of depression which is why were doing the vaginal Crinone instead of oral Prometrium). I have left messages for her, but she is not calling me back. I really want to just stop taking it, but am scared. Tomorrow I'm going to call me general dr and see if he can help. Any thoughts or information on this would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I'm 42, 4 healthy children, and I am still having periods. Thanks, Mary
