Hi Jen,
I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. I've been there, and I
think it is endo. I had the same symptoms and had a lap in March which
confirmed endo, but he said it was only a mild case. So hopefully for
you even if it is endo it is a mild case. I personally think if you
take care of it earlier rather than later (either by birth control pills
or another lap) you're better off. The longer you let it go the more it
builds up, the more damage it causes to your reproductive organs, and
the more scar tissue you'll have after the lap. Also, I was going to
wait 3 more years to start a family, as I'm just graduating from law
school and wanted a legal career before I had children, but when I was
diagnosed with endo my doctor told me there will never be a perfect time
to have kids, never enough time, never enough money. And I agree. So
we're trying right now with our fingers crossed hoping for the best. I
hope this helps! Congrats on your first baby, he sounds like a true
blessing.
