I got the firt shot on the fist day of my period and my period lasted for 3 weeks but was light for the last two weeks and they said that was normal. The first three weeks you notice an increase in your current symptoms because your hormone level goes sky high then drops off..... Then my pain went away and now I only have the wonderful hot flashes but they are so much better than being in pain, so far that is the only side effect I personally have had.
