Re: Right sided painFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: Anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue May 4 22:35:52 2004
Ask them to check your appendix. When I had my lap last year, they discovered that I had chronic appendicitis for over a YEAR. It was misdiagnosed as a kidney infection, and the cipro they put me on probably saved me from a rupture at that point. When they removed my appendix, the thing was completely hard, infected and PURE WHITE, and also had endometriosis all over it. My symptoms were mild to moderate pain in the lower right abdomen and waist area. I also had a fever, faintness, dizziness, and passed out at work. I just did not feel RIGHT - but they couldn't find the real problem. I was lucky they caught it when they did - had I not gone in for the lap, I would have probably had emergency surgery when it finally decided to blow.
