Hi, You have to realize that medical drs. push medicine & not natural products, no offense to any Drs. but the natural field/herbal/vitamins is not what they have studied. Every medical Dr. I have asked about the natural herbs... I am taking (exception my current gyno said the progesterone cream is what probably is helping my cysts)has said that they cannot comment on it or that they do not recommend or it...but I bet that a lot of them go home & use the natural products themselves. I think the majority of women here have not tried progesterone cream but have tried bcp, so it will be hard to get an accurate view. Maybe you can go to this endo site where a lot of women have tried it & see their results also & compare: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/endonatural/ a lot of older women who have had endo for many years their. Of course it is all up to you to decide. From everything I have read, it is not harmful & if their is a chance it could work, why not give it a try-3 months is best. You can always go back to birth control pills in the future. I would suggest not listening to me but key in endometriosis & natural progesterone cream in a search engine & see what results you may find & pray about what decision to make.
