I've never heard of tubal ligation as a cure for Endo. Frankly, I don't see how it could work. I tend to agree with the theory that the cells for Endo are already "out there" waiting for their "trigger" to grow. Many doctors think that Endo is caused by reflux menstration dripping from the tubes into the body cavity. The problem with that theory is that 90% of women do this and only a small fraction of us have Endo.

In addition, it is a proven fact that Endo loves to grow in old scars. Many women get Endo in the surgery scars they got during the Lap to remove it in the first place. I was considering a new BC option where they place a small object in each tube. This causes the body to grow what is essentially scar tissue around the object which blocks the tubes and prevents pregnancy. But, with my luck I'd end up triggering Endo in my tubes. Haven't had it there before and didn't want to risk it.

I think a safer option is figuring out what is "triggering" it to grow and working that angle. Read some of the older posts on here about diet, herbs and natural progesterone. Some of us have had some really good luck with those options. (You can do word searches on old posts)
