Hi, I am 23 no children and happily married almost two years. I am going for my first laparoscopy on May 14th and they say it could possible end up a laporotomy. This is because they found a solid mass the size of a "baseball" (those medical terms they use, lol) on my left ovary. They also suspect endo. Besides being nervous about they surgery I am also worried about my fertility. My husband and I were going to wait another 2-4 years to try to have children, and now decided we will most likley start after I am healed from the surgery. My question is what can I expect from the surgery? Either kind of surgery? I have done a lot of research and my doc answered a lot of my questions and gave me tons of reading materials. It's just I would like to hear from women who have had it done first hand. I think the things I am most nervous about is going under and getting a catherder, lol silly I know. I am just praying my fertility is not affected and that it is not cancer....Jennifer in New York
