HINTS FOR CONCEIVING

I am a 33year old who has had laproscopy and sigmoid colectomy for endo. My last surgery in August 03 was very extensive lapro. for Stage IV endo. Only one ovary and fallopian tube "survived" this time. We are trying to conceive now and I am anxious about the potential for children. My OB/GYN suggested IVF immediately upon my review in January but we have decided to give it a natural shot for the rest of this year first. Last month I go incredibly sore breasts and nipples (more than usual) with lots of pain in my abdomen. Felt sure I was pregnant but then got a late period (have been very regular since surgery) and an awful period. Now my period has finished and I am still getting some odd pains in my lower abdomen. I know that I probably didnt conceive but wanted to know if other women had pain when getting pregnant as I am hoping this is not a recurrence of endo already. I read somewhere that some endo sufferers know very soon they are pregnant as implantation is quite painful due to scarred organs having to move again.

Also any hints on getting pregnant with such severe disease (I know I know apart from actually having sex! ;) Should I be considering IVF now rather than waiting? Ever hopeful Juanita from New Zealand
