Beth, Well I was on bcp's, but only took them for a month becasue I was seeing shooting stars fly by. Then they took me off. But they also had me on 600mg of ibprofen and those didnt help either. None of this even helped in the first place. But my gyno said to call her if this stuff didn't kick in (ibprofen) right away. So my best advice would be to call her back and tell her that nothing is working. Especially if you are in so much pain. I hope all goes well. God Bless! ~mari
