Re: Interstitial Cystitis

I was also recently diagnosed with IC. My gyn said that endo, IC, and
irritable bowel all seem to run in packs. I had endo on my ureters and
bladder, so when I started having problems like increasing frequency and
urgency, I thought it was the endo. The doc disagreed, and thought
this, with some GI symptoms I'm having, that it was IC and IBS. I'm
still not entirely convinced, but have started the diet. I am seeking a
2nd opinion because the gyn's only recommendation at this time is to
start the diet, while the research I'm doing is showing that the IC
should be confirmed and that there's several things to do initially
(cysto with distention, meds, etc). So I see a urologist tomorrow. I
wish you guys the best of luck!!
