Going for my first Lap Friday

Hello everyone. I'm 24 years old and this is my first time to go in for a laproscopy.

I've been having abdominal cramps, pelvic pain, and occasional urinary discomfort since August. I've had an upper and lower ultrasound, colonoscopy, blood tests, cultures, etc - all finding nothing except for 2 3cm cysts on my right ovary (my dr said that this would not cause the pain i was having and that they would just go away - however i was having sharp pains in that area right around ovulation and my period - doesn't make sense). Anyway - I was put on birth control and my pain seemed to subside somewhat (or at least that cyst pain did). However, I recently got off the bc because of weight gain and acne on my chest. It seems as soon as I stopped taking them, my pains are coming back. I'm going in for my first lap on Friday - i'm a bit scared.

I was wondering if anyone has urinary discomfort like mine? I can only describe it as a mini-UTI. It seems like it'll last a half-day or so and then go away and come back again in a week or so. It doesn't burn or anything. It just feels like I haven't finished going which is very uncomfortable. I have back pain with it also - just like a UTI. I've had numerous UTI cultures all coming back negative along with chlamydia and gonoreah cultures.

Thanks, Leigh
