Hi! I take Bentyl. I can tell you my experience with it. It's supposed to help with the stomach spasms. I tried the 4 pills daily, and my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest. I then went to 3...pretty much same thing. Now I'm taking 2 daily...no side effects. I am taking it for "IBS" but I have not been officially diagnosed with that...we'll find out once I go to the GI dr. Friday. But anyway, I don't think it's really helped my symptoms, b/c I have endo, and I feel that it is affecting my bowels. I still have stomach issues, so that's why I think it's the endo. Long story! lol! But, I would probably start with the 4 pills a day, and then if it has side effects for you, try taking a lesser dose. Hope this helps!
