After reading more of the posts I am so mad at myself for not asking more questions about Lupron and mad at the specialist for not telling me more about it!!! I assumed but didn't know you REALLY had to be that carefull about using protection while taking the shots. I didn't know hair loss was a side affect. All I was told was that I would have the same side effects that go along with menopause such as hot flashes, mood swings, loss of sex drive, etc. I guess I have had so many drs telling me so many different things that I didn't ask the questions I needed to. Despite that I will continue with the shots because to me its worth a try! I am to get them once a month for 6 months. I was surprised by the fact that it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would..... ok so I am a chicken and hate shots, heck the endo pain is soooooooooo much worse, I'll get a shot anyday (unless I get some of the side effects some of you have mentioned on here). Just had to vent my own studpidity!!!! Amanda
