Hi Melissa,
I wrote several weeks ago about my leg pain. My neurologist said that I
also had a pinched nerve caused from my surgery. I was dx with having
Meralgia Paresthetic. The nerve can also be damage by position too.
Several of my doctors told me that the nerve was probably damaged by
being in the stirrups too long. This nerve also can be pinched by being
over weight, pregancy or wearing clothing too tight.
It has been over three months from my surgery and the numbness and pain
are not as bad. I hope your pain is not as mine pain was. I also have
other pain in my leg that doctors can't figure out. One said it could
be bursitis and/or lumbar radiculopathy. I'm going to try swimming to
see if that will help. I see the doctor again in two weeks.
