Re: period right before lap--problem?

It won't be a problem. I was supposed to start my period on the actual day of my lap and I asked my doctor if I needed to skip it and just start my next pack of birth control pills, or if I could go ahead and have it. He said that it was up to me-that it wouldn't affect the lap at all either way-and like the other people said, it can actually help them see more of where the endo is cause that's when it's shedding from your uterus. I opted to skip it, cause my husband is squeamish to anything dealing with a period and I knew he couldn't handle helping me change a pad (you can't wear tampons right after the lap) afterwards. Enjoy the rest--it was the best sleep I ever had!!! =)
