New to Endo

Two months ago I saw my GYN regarding bilateral, multiple, ovarian cysts; lack of menses; bloating; constipation; and generally, just feeling like I was 30 years older than I am. She suggested it may be Endo and since I am perimenapausal, started me on a low dose hormone patch. After a month of bleeding on the patch, she scheduled me for a Lap. That was done 2 weeks ago. After the surgery, she told my husband and friend that she removed adhesions from around my ovaries, and that I had quite a bit of Endo. She could not laser the Endo because it was wrapped around my blood vessels. She suggested a hysterectomy to my husband and I'm sure she will inform me when I see her next week. I have not done much research on Endo as of yet, but what is the relation between that and ovarian cysts? I have also been dealing with muscular pain...shoulders, hips, upper and lower back (for the last year). Does this tie in with Endo? Just prior to my surgery, I asked my doctor to remove this "lump" from my groin. It started out the size of a pea. It felt like it had tunneled out towards my thigh. She thought it was a sebacious cyst but told my husband it was nothing...just inflammation. Well, its back already and bigger than before. Could this be tied in as well? I've always been a pretty healthy person and in touch with my body and the way I feel. I was clueless as to why I had been feeling tired and hurting, but I knew something was up. I feel pretty lucky in that I don't have the debilitating pain that many of you have. Thanks to everyone that posts here. It's very informative and much appreciated! ----Cindi----
