Rachel,

I know how angry all of this can make you. I was diagnosed with endo at age 16. I also missed a lot of school and had to be tutored at home. It is very hard to go thru all of this at such a young age. I am now 25 and I am still alive. :) I am going to have my 4th lap, but I know I will make it thru that one like I did the other 3. My advice is to....... #1 Find a good physician, someone who specializes in endometriosis #2 Give Lupron a try. If you have never been on Lupron, try it. It has been the only thing that helped me when I was first diagnosed. I can no longer use Lupron, because I have exceeded my lifetime use. But, trust me if I could take it I would. #3 Ask your Dr. about taking birth control pills continuosly. I have been doing this for several years and it helps. I also did the depo shot and did not like it. I had to try several types of birth control pills before I found one that worked. A lot can cause break thru bleeding, so it may take some time.

So, hang in there and remember things will not always be this bad. Hopefully this advice will help. Good Luck!!

Melissa
