I had the same problem. The colonoscopy will only keep you out of school for 1 day. For the Lap they say a week but I felt fine when I got out. The only thing is the blood clots that come with it. I lost so much blood (during our city festival fireworks, in a cotton dress) that we rushed home (after I had passed 2 and another on my front porch) called the hospital and they said "Oh, thats normal, if she passes out send her to the emergancy room". I was fine but dont get caught sitting in class and have a hockey puck size blood clot come pouring out. Thats why they tell you to stay home even when you feel ok.
