Hi. I am also in the same boat as you. My gynecologist is great, but
she doesn't specialize in intestinal endometriosis, which is most likely
what is going on. I had a lap. last year and they found endo and
lasered it off, but now it's back. Nice, huh? But, I guess they are
doing the colonoscopy just to make sure nothing else is there. But that
is a pretty expensive procedure to have if they can't see anything.
Meaning, that a colonoscopy can't see endo, only a laparoscopy can find
it. I'm glad to hear that you have found a dr. that you like.... that
is very hard to find!! May I ask what kind of symptoms you are having as
far as the intestinal problems?
