hi! im 25 and had an oophorecystectomy only last jan this year. where my cysts was removed and also some lesions located on my uterus and near the rectum which said by my doctor was causing irregular bowel movement especially during menstrual period. my ovaries were saved! Thank God! for the whole time last year ive been having severe/worst pains on my pelvic during 1st day of menstruation and i ended up always on bed and collapsing due to pain. and after urinating i couldnt walk up straight cuz its like my ovaries were squeezed so tight! i had gone to the doctor to have an ultrasound on sept last year. and the verdict was: a probable endometrial cyst measuring 3 cm around on my left ovary. doctor's dvice was, it might be just be temporary and have to observe more yet. during the 3 months after the verdict, i thought the cyst is gone cuz pain has been reduced. so i had my 2nd ultrasound to check whether it has really gone bye-bye. the verdict of 2nd ultrasound??? cyst on the left measures 6cm, and right ovary now has abt 3-4cm cyst. now i got both of my ovaries with cysts!!! advice: SURGERY. i wasnt scared of having to undergo a surgery as i was already hopeless to have the pain go away permanently than to suffer it for the next month. decision was right and something good came from the surgery. i had my 1st menstruation since the surgery and it was perfect!!!!!!! no more pain, no uncomfortable heavy feeling, it was like an ordinary day only i am bleeding down there. :-) 2nd menstruation came, and a littttle of heavy feeling and no pain. here's my question: is the endo cyst possible to re-ccur? incase ill be feeling a litte pain on my pelvic again, will it mean that my perfect days will be over again?????
