Hi all,
This might sound kind of weird...but in my experience....the best doc's
for me have always been men. I know it doesn't apply to everyone elses
situation...but for myself..I've come up with a theory. I think the
women doc's that I've seen in the past were all non-endo sufferers.
Therefore, they most likely have 'normal menstrual cramps"..and can't
imagine what it is like to have bad ones...u know? They compare their
cramps to ours and think..."it's not that bad". Men doc's, however,
have never had "cramps' at all...so they have nothing to compare it to.
I know this sounds silly but every single appt. that I've had with a
woman doc. has been an absolute nightmare! One did absolutely nothing,
one referred me to "overeaters annonymous", etc, etc. For me..the only
way to go is a man. Just my two cents...and again..my own experience.
I'm sure lots of you out there have wonderful women doc's and that's
great.
Luv,
Olivia
