I went to the doctor and sure enough I have been diagnosed with a dermoid tumor and endometriosis. I have since had surgery, but I keep gaining weight. The doctor tested my thyroid and everything is fine. He will not test my hormones because he says my weight gain is not related to my tumor and endometriosis. I find it ironic that the weight gain started when I found out about my tumor and endometriosis. I have an appt. with an endocrinologist next week. Hopefully he will test my hormones. I think things may have got thrown out of whack during all this surgery etc. Can someone please give me some insight? Thanks!
