I am new to this site, but not new to endo. Today I scheduled my second lap...I am 22. After reading some of these posts, my heart goes out to those of you who suspect you have endo but don't know yet, or who just don't understand all that goes along with it. I feel so fortunate to have finally found a good doctor who understands, who continues to educate herself on the subject, and who is a woman. My advice to everyone who doesn't feel comfortable with the knowledge that they have or who has a doctor who doesn't take your pain lightly to keep searching!!! It will help you so much to have someone on your side. There are good doctors out there, and you aren't crazy! I also recommend finding a woman doctor. I really think that they tend to be more caring and understanding when it comes to this disease. I'm not prejudice against men, that has just been my experience. Good luck to you all! Jen
