Re: BCP question if no pain

Hi Dawn,

I had similar side effects from BCP, and I tried many different kinds over the years. I am currently taking Yasmin and it has really helped a lot with my endo symptoms and does not make me feel crappy. The only time I get a little emotional is during the 4th week for the days before I get my period. There is also something about the Yasmin (different kind of progestin) that can reduce abdominal bloating and for me this has been great.

My Dr. said that as long as I am not experiencing pain and symptoms, my endo is not likely to be creating new scarring, and therefor not increasing my risk of infertility. Does anyone have feedback about this theory? I hope it's true! I have never been pregnant so am also scared about infertility.
